Autograph letter signed from George Rose, London, to William Winter [manuscript], 1877 July 15.

Rose refers to Winter's visit to "the birth place of that old duffer Shakespear." On letterhead of 96, Gloucester Place, Portman Square. Annotation in Winter's hand reads "Sketchly, received, answered" and another that reads "George Rose 'Arthur Sketchley' to William Winter."
